I began my career in 1989, transitioning from a military background to UBS in IT infrastructure at the outset. The journey unfolded through roles at Credit Suisse and Chevron, all centred around IT projects. Noteworthy in my career has been the extensive travel, building global experiences and relationships. Morgan Stanley became my professional home for 26 years, where I navigated through multiple IT roles. In 2010, a shift propelled me into Institutional Equities Prime Brokerage consulting. Initially advising clients on IT infrastructure, the role quickly evolved into diverse areas like Real Estate, office fit-out management, and setting up new HedgeFunds from scratch. My understanding of financial markets and a deep grasp of my client base allowed me to seamlessly adapt to the expanding role. In 2023, I took the entrepreneurial leap, founding 1961 Consulting Ltd. This venture essentially mirrors my consulting role in Morgan Stanley, now operating as a standalone business. I continue to serve clients from there and other international banks, bridging the worlds of finance, real estate, and technology.
