Stuart MacDonald

Expert in corporate strategy, business development and capital raising, Stuart MacDonald has many years’ successful experience in alternative investments (hedge funds, crypto, private equity, real assets) and bankable technologies (e.g. fintech, DLT, medtech, renewables, agro/food tech). He is currently Chairman of a Digital Assets investment firm (Aaro Capital), Managing Partner of a corporate finance firm (Bride Valley Partners) and has other interests in alternative investment management, sustainable transport and hospitality. He is known for original, “out of the box” thinking, an exceptional global contact network and for mentoring up-and-coming industry talent. Stuart has received several alternative investment industry awards and frequently Chairs and Moderates at leading investment conferences. He is an opinion former and presents the award-winning alternative investments radio show, the Naked Short Club on London’s Resonance 104.4FM and has been a Visiting Lecturer at London University. He has served numerous Charities, Community and Arts organisations as a Trustee or on their Advisory Boards and remains active in the Voluntary sector.
