Rick Phillips

Rick has a longstanding expertise in corporate finance and in directing the origination and execution of strategic debt and equity opportunities in both European and emerging markets. He also has a long record in structuring complex financial solutions by utilizing an array of finance products such as equity, mezzanine debt, structured debt, leveraged finance as well as other debt and equity products. Rich has strong knowledge of the institutional investor base in both developed and emerging markets and a close working relationship with hundreds of funds and family offices. Rick has served as the Area Director of Cisco Capital for the Middle East and Africa, which is a fully licensed entity at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Prior to Cisco, Rick has worked in senior positions at several multinational companies including GE Capital, HP Financials Services and JP Morgan Chase. Rick has a BSc and an MSc in Computer Science and Finance from Columbia University in New York and an MBA from Oxford University.
