I am obsessed with the idea of using software to solve practical problems. Software engineering is a never-ending puzzle that I am passionately engaged in solving. I have vast experience in leading and managing a team of senior developers, developers, QAs and testers to deliver high-quality complex software solutions on time. I have worked in various financial domains including Investment Banking (Electronic Trading, FX Options, Fixed Income, Interest Rates, Equity, Derivatives, Risk Systems, Remediation Platform, Financial mathematics), Big four accountancy firms and Hedge funds. I have broad experience in enterprise-level financial applications, architecture, and development. I have experience in all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Successfully delivered high performance, fast, scalable, secure, reliable systems. I have excellent knowledge of programming best practices, design patterns and enterprise application patterns including Agile methodologies, SDLC, TDD, SOLID and continuous integration. I have experience working with Strats, Quants, Traders, Brokers, Actuaries, front office users, and stakeholders. I have an excellent academic background with a dual Master’s Degree – MSc in Computer Science and MCA (Master of Computer Applications). Also, I am a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
