Maja Marszalek

Maja built and has led the UK business development team at ACA Group since 2020 to cater for an evolving and growing suite of services to the hedge fund industry including regulatory compliance, cyber, RegTech, ESG and Managed Services. Maja’s broad role encompasses sales, customer success and oversight of marketing, and within that she manages and mentor a teams spread across the UK and US. During her career working with the hedge fund industry Maja has demonstrated a passion for sales and business strategy that delivers innovative and robust solutions for clients. She has established go to market strategies to align the firm’s vision with the needs and expectations of alternative asset management clients. She works closely with her clients to ensure success in the delivery of the project, to understand the client’s changing requirements and build long lasting relationships. Her deep knowledge and extensive experience give her the ability to identify client needs and solutions, be they a new hedge fund launch or a long established organisation with offices around the world. Maja holds an MBA (Distinction) from the Warwick Business School and is frequently asked to return as a guest speaker and to coach current MBA students. She has mentored fellow professionals in the hedge fund industry to help with their development and professional growth. She is Co-Chair and Head of Programmes at Women in Banking and Finance which focusses on helping finance professionals to achieve their full career professional.
