Lizzy Buss

Lizzy is an Executive Director at MUFG Investor Services, working in Business Development and responsible for establishing new partnerships. Lizzy has over 20 years' experience of building businesses across a range of different organisations. Lizzy joined MUFG in 2020 from State Street, where she held senior roles in Enhanced Custody and InfraHedge. Prior to this, Lizzy spent 8 years running and growing a family office, investing in multiple asset classes globally across equities, fixed income, and private markets. Lizzy was actively involved in all aspects of the business, from investment selection and due diligence to operations and service provider selection. During this time, Lizzy had three children who are now wonderful teenagers! Prior to this, Lizzy was Director of Sales & Relationship Management at UBS Prime Brokerage, where she helped grow the business in the UK, Nordic and Benelux regions. Lizzy also worked in PB as an Account Manager, in credit derivatives operations as a Global Product Manager, and in technology at JPMorgan Chase as a Global Programme Manager. Lizzy holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham. Lizzy has been an active member of AIMA, SBAI, TISA, 100 Women in Finance, Women in Banking and Finance, The Diversity Project, and served on the Board of Help For Children (UK) for 5 years. Lizzy was shortlisted for the Women in Investments Awards 2018 and highly commended at the Women in Financial Advice Awards 2019. Lizzy is currently an Ambassador for The Diversity Project and is passionate about leveraging inclusion as a tool to improve business outcomes and help solve big world issues, such as achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Lizzy has founded multiple networks over the last 25 years, most recently "All of Us", MUFG Investor Services' employee network. Lizzy serves on the Board of United Way UK.
