Ian Forrest

As the Founder of OSMO Partners, Ian has worked in the investment management industry since 1998, focusing on middle office and operations within hedge funds. Ian was head of middle office at RAB Capital, with responsibility for more than twenty funds during a period of dynamic growth for the business. Ian also managed the integration of various acquired funds and led key technology projects whilst at RAB. Prior to founding OSMO Partners, Ian was a partner at LPR Consulting where he was instrumental in the launch and strategic oversight of new hedge funds, managed accounts and UCITS products. Ian’s experience as a portfolio manager means he is adept at running a fund and understands the challenges surrounding raising assets and meeting institutional due diligence requirements. Ian has a problem-solving approach which allows him to help clients achieve pragmatic and cost-effective operational solutions.
