Gavan McGuire

Gavan has worked in the fund services industry since 1997. As Managing Director, Gavan focuses on creating long-term client partnerships through tailored strategies. Based in London, he heads the fund administration sales operations for the EMEA region. With a client-centric approach, Gavan is dedicated to understanding the unique challenges clients face, ensuring that Waystone's systems and processes are continually evolving to meet and exceed those needs. Gavan held the position of Head of Business Development at Centaur from 2010, which became part of the Waystone Group in February 2023. Based in London, he was responsible for spearheading growth initiatives, identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, nurturing key client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate service offerings tailored to evolving client needs. He previously held senior positions at Citi Hedge Fund Services and Bisys Hedge Fund Services, both in Dublin and London. His prior roles have endowed him with valuable insights into sales and client relationship management, making him a key asset to Waystone's executive team. Gavan is an alumnus of the University of Limerick. He was a founding member of Help for Children, an industry grant-making charity which supported charities which focused on supporting disadvantaged and abused children. He has previously been an active participant in the AIMA communications committee, contributing to discussions on industry standards and best practices.
