Carrie Whamond

Post education, Carrie started out in Business Consulting, working with Academia and Industry on the commercialisation of new technologies, before specialising in the software industry. Carrie has since worked in the SaaS, Managed Service and IT Industry for seventeen years. Over thirteen of those consulting in the design and deployment of infrastructure and support to the Hedge Fund and Private Equity industries. Carrie was part of the team who built, and negotiated the acquisition of niche IT Support firm, Capital Support Group. Most recently, Carrie spent time working in the Machine Learning and Big Data space, before co-founding Alternit One in 2019. Alternit One provides (design, build and run) public cloud Infrastructure and IT Support services to the financial and professional services industries.
