Ant takes great pride in advising and guiding hedge funds on the best solutions for them. He has been in the industry since 2001. The aspect of his career and industry of choice that Ant loves the most, is dealing with smart, often eccentric, deeply motivated and talented people. Ant came to the hedge fund industry via a career in professional Rugby League and a rotation across top tier Prime Brokerage firms (Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs) where he began to cultivate his network covering major industry names. He has held senior global positions at HSBC in Prime Finance and Global Markets Legal, before moving to a Managing Director role at Societe Generale, leading global client service and hedge fund coverage for Prime. Ant’s passion for being client facing and helping grow businesses, led him to build hedge fund facing consulting platforms at KPMG UK and Capco. For the last 3 years Ant has been the go-to person in his network of Primes, Law Firms and hedge fund CIO and COO’s, as head of Sales for ACA Mirabella’s award winning and market leading Regulatory Hosting business. Outstanding contributions/ the impact it has on the industry - He has advised the highest profile hedge fund managers, with guidance on structure, advice on service providers, asset raising and regulatory compliance - Ant has successfully helped over 65 hedge funds to launch in the UK in the past 3 years - He has tripled the size of ACA’s hedge fund business in the UK since joining in 2021 Contributions and influence on a particular service provision community - Ant enjoys speaking on industry panels, most recently the 2023 HFM Emerging Managers Summit and 2024 ACA Global Conference. - He is referenced and quoted regularly in magazines (theTrade, Hedgeweek) - Ant has consulted on and published whitepapers on outsourced services for hedge funds, which are often referred to and is still considered a prime brokerage product expert in the community. Outside of the workplace Ant is a Director of Rugby at a National League One semi pro RL team, and qualified Rugby Union and Rugby League coach. He lives in Tunbridge Wells with his wife, their family of 5 children and their dog.
